[KHYS Postdoc Days 2021] How to Become a Junior Research Group Leader
How can I prepare best during my postdoc-phase in order to enhance my chances of a successful application for a junior research group? What is expected from me from different funding bodies and selection committees? And how can I as a postdoc manage to fulfill other work responsibilities and yet still have time to concentrate on my next career step?
If you like to know more about these aspects then join your fellow postdoctoral researchers at this digital event. It will start with an introductory lecture of various ways on how to become a junior research group leader and possible funding options. The subsequent panel discussion will feature several junior research group leaders who will share their individual experiences with us. During the discussion, we will also talk about their personal views on risks, chances and prospects of this career path. And - there will be the possibility to address your own questions.
This event is open to postdocs and people interested in becoming a postdocs at KIT who are KHYS members.
