Do you consider becoming a junior professor or tenure track professor in Germany, but do not know what the preconditions, expectations and framework conditions are? Or are you uncertain whether this might be the right career path for you in the first place?

The event How to Become a Junior Professor or Tenure Track Professor will help finding answers to these questions by bringing junior professors and tenure track professors as well as representatives of supporting service units at KIT together. After a keynote speech of the chairman of the board of the national association Deutsche Gesellschaft Juniorprofessur and a representative of the division Appointment Procedures of KIT, the invited junior professors and tenure track professors will share their personal experiences during the panel discussion. It will also be possible to ask questions. In the subsequent get-together with beverages and snacks, there will be more possibilities to network. 

The event will be held in English and is now open to all early career researchers at KIT.
