Doing Your Doctorate at KIT

Tuesday, 13 May 2025, 13:00-14:00
KIT, Campus Süd
11.40 Seminarraum 214
Englerstraße 11
76131 Karlsruhe

The decision to pursue a doctorate raises many questions: What are the admission requirements? What types of PhDs are available? How do I find a topic? Who will supervise me? As the central institution for early-career support, Karlsruhe House of Young Scientists (KHYS) is the point of contact for advising prospective and current doctoral candidates at KIT.

This talk provides an overview of all information related to the doctorate at KIT, including the necessary formal steps that are important before, during, and at the end of your doctorate, and also informs about funding programs offered by KHYS.

This event is part of the International Coffee Break series organized by International Affairs as part of the International Days 2025.
