Subsequent Entry of Data – the Duty of all Doctoral Researchers to Provide Information According to HSchulDSV BW
Due to the amendment of the Baden-Württemberg Higher Education Data Protection Ordinance (HSchulDSV BW) as of June 6, 2019, all doctoral researchers are obliged to provide KIT with the data specified in art. 9a par. 1 of the HSchulDSV BW when concluding the doctoral agreement.
This obligation to provide information applies retroactively to all doctoral researchers who have concluded a doctoral agreement with their supervisor before October 1, 2019.
For this reason, we call on all doctoral researchers who are pursuing their doctorate at a KIT Department to fulfil their duty to provide information and to take part in the process of subsequent entry of data.
For your support we provide the following information:
▶ Three steps to the subsequent entry of data
▶ Information on access to the Docata web portal
▶ Factsheet subsequent entry of data (download)
Note: All doctoral researchers who have registered in 2019 via the new Docata web portal only have to add or update individual data.
