Your Personal AI-ssistant Has Arrived. Using Generative AI as a Professional Tool in Science [ONLINE WORKSHOP]
The event will be held in English and run for one day, on January 22, 2025.
With the arrival of ChatGPT, a powerful and versatile tool has become available for knowledge workers. This workshop is designed to introduce early-career researchers to potential applications of ChatGPT (and related platforms) in their daily work and to familiarize them with essential principles for its effective use.
Key Topics include:
- Ideation: Discover how ChatGPT can aid in generating ideas for problem-solving
- Writing: Learn how ChatGPT can ease drafting and editing documents as well as adapting your messages to different audiences.
- Teaching: Explore how ChatGPT can assist in course development, instructional activities, and supporting learners.
In addition to these core areas, participants will gain insights into general principles for creating effective prompts (i.e., prompt engineering) that can be applied across various domains. By the end of the workshop, participants will thereby have acquired valuable skills that can significantly enhance their work efficiency and productivity.
This event is open to doctoral researchers and postdocs at KIT who are KHYS members.
Technical requirements: To participate in this event, you need a stable internet connection, a webcam and a microphone. Participants will receive further detailed information regarding the online-platform prior to the event.
