I noted that doctoral researchers who are enrolled at KIT as PhD student (i.e. pay the student semester fee) are not eligible for the refund because they can take part in one German course at Studienkolleg per semester for free.

* Placement Test:

I also noted that unless I haven’t already passed a Studienkolleg German course successfully, I have to take the placement test ("Online-Einstufung") at Studienkolleg before applying for the refund.
